This website at mikemerolaplastering.com is run by Mike Merola & Sons Plastering, a fifth generation family plastering business serving the Greater Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania since 1997. By using the site you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We are a service area business. We travel to the customer, and we do not have premises the public visits, so phone and email are the ways to reach us.

This site describes the plastering work we do and gives you a way to ask us about a job. That is all it is. It is an information and inquiry site.

Nothing on this site is an offer to do work, and sending us an inquiry does not book anything. Work is agreed between us and you directly, after we have talked and usually after we have seen the job. Until that happens there is no agreement.

This is the part worth reading twice, because it is where misunderstandings start.

An estimate we give you based on your form, your description and your photos is exactly that. An estimate. It is our honest read of the job from the information in front of us, and it is not a fixed price, a bid, or a contract.

Plaster hides things. A ceiling that photographs as one crack can turn out to have come away from the lath across half the room, and a damp patch can be a roof rather than a wall. When we see the job in person, or when we open something up, the figure can change. If it does, we tell you before we carry on, and you decide.

No price shown or described anywhere on this site is a quoted price for your job. Prices depend on the work, the size, the access, the condition and the materials.

The site is provided as it is. We write it carefully and we keep it up to date as best we can, but we do not promise that everything on it is complete, current or free of errors, and we do not promise the site is always available.

Nothing on this website is a warranty or a guarantee of any outcome, result, finish, timescale or price. Descriptions of our work, our methods and our experience are there to tell you what we do. They are not a promise about what will happen on your particular job.

If any promise of any kind is ever made about your job, it will be made to you directly, in writing, by us. Not by a web page.

We carry out work in the Greater Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. Inquiries from outside that area may be declined, and we may decline a job inside it too, for reasons of scheduling, access, or because it is simply not the kind of work we do.

If we cannot take your job we will say so quickly, rather than leave you waiting.

When you use the quote form, please give us accurate information. An estimate is only as good as what it is built on.

You confirm that you are the owner of the property or that you are allowed to arrange work on it. If we find out that is not the case, we may decline the job.

The text, layout, design, logos and images on this site belong to Mike Merola & Sons Plastering, or are used by us with permission. You may read the site, print a page for your own use, and share a link to it.

You may not copy, republish, scrape or reuse the content of this site for your own business or website without our written permission.

Some of the photographs on this site show our own work. Others are illustrative, chosen to show a material, a finish or a type of room, and they are not photographs of a job we did.

Either way, a photograph shows one result on one property. It is not a promise of the result on yours, because no two walls, ceilings or houses are the same.

This site links to and embeds things from other companies, including a map and a form. Those links and embeds are there for convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement of a company, a product or anything they say.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute about this website or these terms belongs in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page, and the updated version applies from the date it goes up. Using the site after that means you accept the change.
